  • Incorrect use of the logo

The elements of the logo should not be separated or moved in relation to one another.

The logo should not be altered by substituting a different typeface.

No elements should be added to the logo.

    Do not alter the letter-spacing.

Do not resize the elements or distort the logo.

Do not box or outline the logo.

Do not print elements of the logo in different colours. The logo must always be printed in the colour control specifications detailed in these guidelines.

  • Colour control specifications

Pantone # 484 (red) from the Pantone Matching System is the official colour of the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research logo. This colour is to be used in all applications of the signature whenever colour printing is feasible; otherwise, black is the only alternative colour.

The font style for the text in the logo is Trajan. Body text is Adobe Garamond.

If the logo is required to reverse out of a solid colour background, then it will assume the colour of the paper stock.

When printing in black, a solid black version of the logo is to be used. No percentage screens to obtain a two-colour effect should be used on the logo.
