AHFMR Interdisciplinary Team Grants Program

The Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research (AHFMR) Interdisciplinary Team Grants Program provides opportunities for high-quality, internationally recognized teams of investigators to complete research initiatives with defined health outcomes. Funds available in this competition are to support collaborative, interdisciplinary and multi-institutional teams that address important research questions, health problems or issues in defined areas of research that are aligned with strategic research priorities of the Foundation and Alberta. The Program will provide up to $1 million per year per team for up to five years.

May 1, 2009: Sections 1, 2 and Schedule A have been modified, providing clarification that the electronic version of this document is the official document, clarification of the definition of Team Member and modifying the financial reporting categories.

March 10, 2009: Sections 4 and 8 have been modified, clarifying Teams' obligations regarding reporting and the preparation of a Knowledge Transfer Plan.

August 20, 2008: AHFMR has updated the Terms and Conditions governing the Interdisciplinary Team Grant program. Wording in Section 6 and in Schedule B has been modified to clarify the Institutions' obligations regarding submission of Statements of Compliance.
