The Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research (AHFMR) and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC) are pleased to announce a new partnership supporting studentships and fellowships in gastrointestinal research. Building on AHFMR's tradition of funding high quality trainees, this partnership will enable more students and fellows to receive funding in the research area of inflammatory bowel disease. The partnership supports the strategic directions of both agencies in ensuring resources are directed to timely research in an area of health that affects many Albertans and Canadians. Students and fellows with interests in the following priority areas are encouraged to apply:
- Fundamental biology of the intestine
